Below I have included the link for download and a brief description of each software. I offer these links to you so that you may possibly save yourself some time and grief of having to bring your computer in to a shop to be fixed. All the following products are FREE! AVG Antivirus (Free Edition)  Down right the best antivirus I have ever used. This thing has caught quite a bit of viruses that some of the other big boys did not. I have mine scheduled to run every night at midnight. Just download the installation, change the settings to have it run on a schedule, and your set. That's it. It will do the rest. It finds them, destroy and/or quarintines all the threats. Install AVG Antivirus (Free Edition) now Spybot Search & Destroy (Free) (Novice Users Only) Spybot is right next to AVG, in that, it is hands down a great spyware, malware, and all around -ware removal tool. Now granted this isn't for any newbies out there, but if you didn't go "huh" on the first sentence of this description, you should be able to use this program just fine. After download and installation, just follow the easy wizard and it will walk you through. This program also locks your browsers home page so malware or viruses can't change it. Install Spybot Search & Destroy (Free) now Windows Advanced System Care (Free) I had just recently discovered this program about a year ago. I love it. This software greatly compliments the two above and rids the system of any remaining tidbits of the bad stuff that the two up above might not have caught. . Pretty straight forward. Follow the installation instructions and then hit the big blue care button in the middle. Once again this is automatic and detects and removes it for you.
